Anyone ONLY having the nexus 7?

Think i'll still keep my playbook. Might sell my iPad2 or give away to my friend as she likes iOS (She's a simple person :p)

I have a Galaxy tab 10.1 and HP touchpad. Prob give the touchpad to my 8 yr old once I get my 7. For those of you who have never own one before you will never put it down and rarely fire up you laptop.

I love my ten inch transformer, but I'd rather have a 7 inch now. Plus, it's vanilla android :)

If they do in fact release a nexus 10 like rumored, and gamestop gets to sell those also, I might be tempted to get one of those also. A little overboard, but at the same time, the price is still about the same as an ipad or transformer prime. I can always find more stuff to trade in and make that pretty much free. :)

First tablet I will own. The Galaxy Nexus on Google's Play Store is really enticing, but I think my Nexus S 4G will hold me over until the next Nexus device is made (as well as the fact that you can't purchase the damn thing now). Would be a really good deal with T-Mobile's SIM Plan (not much choice since I live in NYC).

We will more than likely do pre orders on it if we do good on this.

The nexus 7 will be my first Tablet. I just preordered the 16 GB model. You can't beat the price of this thing! However I am on my third android smart phone, having just bought the HTC Evo 4G LTE (which I am in love with). My boyfriend has the original iPad and the iPhone 4S, and they're nice and all, but I'm an android fan so this works for me. My actual intention is to replace my HP laptop with the Nexus 7 tablet, as my laptop is old and slow, so we'll see how that works out. I originally was thinking about getting a Microsoft Surface to replace my laptop, but with the price still unknown I'm hesitant, plus with all the apps that support android there really isn't a need to stay with windows. Even photoshop and MS Office have android versions! The only thing I see being potentially problematic is the USB hard drive I have all my music stored on, but if I just keep that hooked up to my old laptop and let it sit in a corner as a file server, that should work fine. Now if only Sims 3 would come to android...

There is a Sims 3 in the play store. 7 dollars. Was able to find it on my epic touch by searching for Sims

indeed there is... but it looks like it's just the base game. I don't see any expansion packs. Maybe the expansion packs can be installed from within the game? On my laptop I have the base game and like 6 expansion packs, all of which I already paid for. If I could install everything I already own on my nexus 7, i'd be set. Oh well, it's just a minor thing.

EDIT:
It actually looks like it's not even the same game... it's a "version" of the game, optimized for android. Oh well.

The Nexus 7 will be my only tablet. I currently have a Galaxy Tab but I plan to sell it as soon as I get my Nexus 7.

Yeah I'm not a big Sims guy. Just couldn't get into it but if you want a Sims fix on the go it is your only option and it doesn't look bad at all. the nexus 7 would def handle that game well

This will be my only tablet. I do have the GSM GNex, too. :)

I prefer the smaller size. More portability. Anxious for it ship now.

I am selling my iPad 2, and would be happy to give up the iPad 3. So tired of not being able to get things done, because iOS thinks I should be insulated from the concept of something so technical as a file!

Just sold my playbook, to get this, however did really like my playbook, If it lives up to the hype and u tube stuff I have seen it will be a keeper. Or I will by the playbook again

Once the Nexus 7 shows up, my TouchPad is going to the bullpen. And if I ever want Flash, it'll be there.
