Anyone Ordering One Plus 13?

Oneplus 13T looks like it's going to be a good phone. I thought I read that the global version may be called 13S. If this phone is tariff free and can sell for $500, that would be great. I don't know if it would make me want to give up my 13 for it.

The fact that Oneplus only does update every two months is a major bother for me. In just the last two months there have been two zero-day attacks on Android that have been identified by Google, both of these allowed hackers to hijack and compromise data without the owner having any idea that the malware is in place. Does anyone have any idea how OnePlus handles these types of situations?

I agree. it's the one thing keeping me away fro OnePlus. Google, Samsung and Apple do a much better job keeping phones safer. Also CS is much better if any problem pop up.

Agree on one part, But nothing is invulnerable even Samsung and iPhone actually are the ones that get it more , the OnePlus 13 barely anything like that happens, i know this cause i use Samsung phone like the S24 Ultra, and the OnePlus is more secure than the S24 not one vulnerable at all has come to the OnePlus 13 , but on all Samsung phones i have caught some , so that is why i said part is true part isn't.

Can't agree. Oneplus users miss an entire month of security patches. That's 6 a year. no excuse for that.

Totally not an issue at all with me, I could care less it's not monthly.
Yup doesn't matter we are still covered with security, so i have no issues in getting it every 2 months, while Samsung throws update lots of time they break things and have to sent another update which OnePlus 13 doesn't have those issues.

I might have saved a few bucks going directly through 1+, but I like the interest free promo and Amazon's 30 day return policy should I change my mind (which I've been known to do LOL)

I cancelled my order LOL. I was laying in bed last night and just can't justify spending the money when I have a perfectly good, paid off, Pixel 9 Pro XL. Maybe we'll see what happens when they drop the 15 in a few months.
