Anyone Ordering One Plus 13?

Either of you have a OnePlus watch? If so, do the notification alerts on the watch sync with the alert slider on the phone? (Like if the phone slider is set to silent notifications on the watch are automatically set to silent too).

I do have the watch I don't have it on right now but let me test it for you

Weird thing is I can put the phone on silent and still hear my watch ring or sound on notification although it's set to low

Not sure where to put general discussion stuff, so I'm just throwing it all in this thread

I set up the pull down shade in "Split" and really digging it. Which is odd because I hated it on my work iPhone LOL (maybe this will learn me to like it on my work phone haha). It's helping me keep track of my notifications because for some odd reason 1+ thinks it's a good idea for notifications to disappear from your lockscreen whenever you unlock your phone ... Regardless if you interact with the notification or not

Yes they know this , and they just think that it's ridiculous for it to always stay on lock screen, so they will keep it that way, To me i like it doesn't bother me so I'm good with it , It's like sometimes if you get 2 to 3 text from same person sometimes one of those notifications will not sound and just vibrate, very random it happens no biggie here so I'm good.

I may have potential deal breakers ...

1) There doesn't seem to be notification snoozing available on this phone. I used that ALL the time with my Pixel When I'm working and can't get to something right then and there, I just snooze it for an hour or two ... If I still can't deal with it when it pops back up, just snooze it again. It's super handy and underrated feature.
2) Another underrated feature from Pixels I use frequently and miss - being able to select any text from within the recent apps. This comes in handy when say you want to look something up from a Facebook post or something similar. Instead of copying the whole post and deleting away what you don't want, you can get only what you want by selecting from the recent apps screen.

Now there are plenty of awesome 1+ features I've already grown quite fond of, so I'ma have to weigh out the pros and cons, but man I am missing the notification snoozing bad! I can learn to live without the second "issue" but we'll see.[/I]

I completely missed the "extract content" option after taking a screenshot ... It's exactly what I was looking for!

Yeah, me discovering this "Extra Content" is pretty game changing LOL Saving text and/or imagines to the File Dock and being able to simply drag/drop that text/image right into a text message thread for sharing is pretty darn cool!
I'm sure it has other uses too that I'll stumble upon ...

I must say, I am extremely underwhelmed by the camera . Not surprised as I am admittedly biased as I prefer Pixel cameras. I was hopeful that the 13 would surprise me given the joint effort with Hasselblad, but I'm not impressed in the least.
Edit: Not saying it's BAD, just not my preferred taste in photo reproduction ...

I'm not into camera , as long as it takes the screenshots they are decent enough for me , actually this camera on the OnePlus 13 is better than Samsung on certain screenshots, but like i said pictures are decent and some come out extraordinary better than some Samsung photos so I'm good, cause everything else this OnePlus 13 does out perform Samsung and all those other flagships phones., so definitely I'm extremely happy

Yeah, it's definitely a capable shooter ... I've just been preferential towards Pixels since the Pixel 2 days. I've grown accustomed to, and appreciate, the true to life color reproduction their cameras typically yield. I don't like when manufacturers boost the brightness and colors ... Sure at first glance they may look more appealing, but I prefer the more natural looking photos.

I definitely understand being a Pixel user I prefer the Pixel reproduction as well. I feel like I have good photos from all my phones they all just handle everything differently so it's more of how I can take a pic with a certain phone. I do feel they should produce better due to the hasselblad collaboration but I've never been blown away with them.

On the OnePlus 15 when it comes out hasselblad is no longer with the OnePlus so it won't have that brand on the phone, they going with something different.

I'm actually contemplating returning the 13 and seeing what the 15 has to offer. I now know I like what OnePlus has to offer. (Plus I'd like to see what Google does with the 10)
Still kicking around the idea ... I have until August 21st to return it through Amazon so I may sit tight a while longer and play some more.

Yes they are going with a better Camera.
I think there going with what Oppo phone camera has which it's way better camera than Samsung.
