Anyone outside of Europe receive the 4.2.2 Update Yet?

Since the 4.2.2 update was announced in the beginning of July, I've been checking every day without luck.

I know UK and parts of Europe received the 4.2.2 update weeks ago.

I'm using the Developer's Edition purchased directly from HTC and not through any carrier, so I don't know why it's taking so long since the update will come directly from HTC.

Won't your update come from your network provider, not HTC?

It is my understanding that Developer's Edition get's OTA updates directly from HTC.
I'm not in North America. I'm in Asia right now.

it'll come from provider if you tap on the update option that says X software update where X is the provider name.
the other option is from the about category. first option there is Software updates. tapping on that should in
theory poll the HTC servers for updates.

there is also the option of going to HTC.com,>>support>>you version of the One>>News and downloads>>Updates.
then just follow the instructions.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not with a contract on a carrier. The carriers usually delay the updates anyway. I use a pre-paid sim card that I use in Asia. I've received an OTA bug fic from HTC before, and OTA updates for my HTC one X last year, so HTC obviously pushes the updates out in some places.

The update's been out in many Asian countries too. It looks like the HTC America is somehow slow on updates.

I have a dev edition on AT&T and I haven't received it either. I was checking it a few times every day until a week ago. I kinda give up now.
