Anyone own an EVO in Modesto,CA area???

I just wanna know if anyone in Modesto,CA or the surrounding cities bought an EVO and if you get 4G here? I was told by a Clearwire Rep that possibly there will be 4G in beta here in Modesto,CA.

I was in Tracy, CA yesterday and amazingly enough picked up 4G services there by the Mall. Was showing the Best Buy crew there (they were amazed at the EVO, had a few of the blue shirts surrounding me, one guy even cradled it), and was surprised to see the 4G symbol.. unfortunately none in my area though (east bay).

I got the Evo last Friday, and just today picked up a 4G signal in Modesto and Salida. For some reason with 4G active, I cannot pull down any data though.. I called our local sprint store and they said they got an e-mail today that 4G is here now.. I asked them why I wasn't able to pull down data, all they would tell me is that it's being "tested" right now.. So... I guess we wait... At least we are a lot closer than a lot of people..

Let me know if anyone has successfully retrieved data from 4G in Modesto, CA...

I was in Modesto around the Coffee / Norwegian area, and I only got 3G.

Tonight for some reason the 4g signal is gone. I can't get the signal right now either. I will try again tomorrow. I hope they get it going right away. If anyone in Modesto area gets a successful 4g data connection let us all know!

I got my EVO on Friday the 11th and I got full 4G signal here in Modesto,CA but can't use it. Does anyone know how to get it to work???
