i'm just being a negative Nancy..... but my old Pentium 4 desktop PC 'used' a dual-channel memory controller but that doesn't mean its running in dual-channel mode if you only have one DIMM installed I'd need to see that the memory installed is installed in such a way that dual-channel is actually 'used'. Wish they had gone just a bit further with that explanation (maybe they did, didn't read the wiki, only the text pasted in). I'm too much of a geek.. i admit it. I just like detailed tech specs.
