Anyone pleasantly surprised with the ear buds with the One

I tend to agree with that. They appear to be unbranded Beats. Look like Beats, sound like Beats, I didn't pay $150+ for them so I'm happy.

Yep! I was in Frys the other day looking for a pair of bluetooth over the head beats headphones. I wanted the HTC made instead of the Monster Cable, so I was looking on the back where it clearly indicates who its made by. The Frys salesman comes over and asks if i need any help so I told him what i was doing. He begin to tell me all of Beats headphones are made by Monster. I showed him the box of a pair made by each. He of course was very surprised that HTC was making them now.

In my opinion, they are the best bundled headphone I have ever gotten with a phone. I usually listen to my music on full blast but now I have to keep it down (and it still sounds clear) to not disturb people on the bus.

Though I won't be using the included headphones I will say I was impressed with them considering they are a kind of "freebie". Definitely adds to the "value for money" when comparing the One to other phones. If I didn't already own better headphones I think I'd be perfectly happy using the included ones on a daily basis. My criticism of included headphones includes less then ideal clarity and lack of good outside noise isolation. Otherwise they are probably heads above headphones non audiophile people use to listen to music.

Well... when I opened the box after picking up my One yesterday I didn't even bother opening the earbuds. After I ran across this thread I thought I'd give them a shot just for S&G's. They're not quite as clear as the Klipsch Image S4i I've used for the past two or three years but I'm incredibly impressed. There's not too much difference at all. Their low end is great and a bit more pronounced than the Klipsch. I was going to chalk it up to the Beats sound processing in the One but after listening to the same song on both back-to-back I have to say I wouldn't have bought the Klipsch if I had the HTC buds at the time. I was thinking about picking up a pair of urbeats because I've enjoyed my Beats Studios and the Klipsch are getting a bit worn out (I've used them 5-8 hours a day 5 days a week for nearly three years) but now I'm not so sure. The fit and finish isn't perfect but they're free so I can't knock them much for that. Good job, HTC.

I believe they come with all HTC One's, not just at&t. All of the unboxings I have seen they have been with the phone.

They do not come with the t mobile version of the one

I just don't like the in ear style. The pressure makes me ill.

I'm still using my ear pods that came with my iPhone 5.

They just fit my head better.

I don't have my One yet but I am looking forward to getting my Beats plugged in. I will give the ones that come with the phone a go of course as Beats are big! Tuesday or Wednesday the phone should arrive and I don't know how much more I can take of this waiting lark!

My co-worker loves his beats headphones and he's convinced the pair that comes with the One is the urBeats, just unbranded. They have pretty great sound quality. For the most part I listen to electronic and pop music, and these genres sound AMAZING with the added bass from these headphones.

they're not unbranded beats headphones...HTC have stopped carrying beats audios headphones
