Anyone replaced the normal Pixel 2 battery yet?

I love this phone but after more than 2 years battery life is not as good as it was at first. Don't know if it's from the aging battery, the software updates, or both?
Did anyone here replaced it's battery? Is it worth it? Are the differences noticeable?

Cheers

I just did about three weeks ago. It is a massive improvement. Better than I remember it from before. I had been grabbing the charger two or three times a day. Now I can charge every other day if I forget. Wireless charging would be nice, but given that I'm running Android 11 beta and have latest of all other software, $79 to replace the battery was a great deal. The 835 in the Pixel 2 looks to be similar in performance to the 765 that will be in the Pixel 5. No 5G, but i don't have it my area anyway. So i plan to get at least another year out of my Pixel 2 (and if it upgrades to Android 12, who knows).

Thanks for your answer. Yeah, I think it's the wisest thing to do.
Where did you do the replacement? I can do it for 55 euros but the shop said it's super tricky to take off the screen and that if it breaks they won't be responsible for it.
I bought a battery case but it's not well designed since there is no bump for the screen so it's exposed when I lay it down on a table. If the falls with the screen on the floor bye bye screen.
Cheers

I would run AccuBattery before replacing the battery to get an idea of how much capacity is left in the battery in case there's another issue with the phone. Likely the battery but doesn't hurt to run the app for a bit.

I have Accubattery Pro installed for more than a year. It reports a battery health of 68% and maximum SOT of 3h.

I have a Pixel 2 xl, picked it up as an Open Box display model not long ago, showing 92-93% health and 5+ hrs SOT - light usage emails, texts, some browsing, phone calls - all battery saving features on. No fast charging or games.
