I don't use phone cases. I've heard lots of chatter about the back of the phone being scratch prone. Wondering if I need to buy a skin. Anyone running naked have any comments? Especially those who don't keep keys/change in the same pocket as their phone.

This is 9h glass back with laser cut lower point for the matte look. Even keys will have a hard time scratching it and what looks like scratches most of the time is just residue from the keys.

I haven't used a case for my last 3 devices. My left pants pocket is phone only. I did get the glass screen protector from Verizon. They put it in for me at the store.

Got a 900.00 Pixel 3 XL.
Not running without a case.
Bought a spigen neo hybrid off Amazon
Got to have some kind of protection for me.

I will echo on the previous post.... Speck cases will be ordered if 50% deal is true and Temper screen protector on it way . Currently rocking Spigen case

I ran without a case for the first couple weeks, then picked up a case for a couple dollars on sale. I didn't intend to use it, but out it on and have not removed it. It added less bulk than expected, so gonna keep it on for a while.

For the record, not so much concerned about the glass. More so the matte finish. Sounds like no serious issues yet from normal usage.

If the phone wasnt so slippery and the camera bump didnt exist id go without a case, but for both of those reasons a case for me is required

I really wanted to run without a case as my Pixel 2XL always seemed so bulky with a case on it. Then my 3XL arrived and it was REALLY slippery. So I put a case on it. I was shocked to find though that it felt less bulky than my 2 XL.

I run with a case on my P2XL ...clear, but still makes me more confident. Don't want to mess up my great device.

Using a clear soft case at the moment. Quite thin and works with the squeeze function. Will probably go for a hard matte plastic case in a couple of weeks. I prefer the texture and practical for day-to-day use.

However, I occasionally remove the case when I'm just at home to feel the frosted glass back. Everytime I do it feels like a new phone. :)

Incipio Duo. I spend a lot of time hiking and camping and the little extra confidence that a slip in the rocks won't be catastrophic is welcome.

That being said at home I often go "no case" just because it really is a great looking and feeling phone

Only until my case comes in from Amazon. I got a super thin/minimalist case for extra grippiness and scratch/bump protection. The 3 does feel great in the hand and is a lot less slippery than my OG Pixel, but I'll feel more comfortable day-to-day with a little protection on it.
