Anyone see/buy one at a store?

What about the NFL app? Did it come preloaded with it? Does it run and can the video from it be run on the HDMI to a TV?

My local verizon store has them. My rep texted me earlierctodsy about it. I am probably gonna pass on this one at least for now because it shipps with froyo.

Northern New Jersey- checked 2 Verizon stores( Livingston and E. Hanover), no X2 until next week.
Best Buy in E. Hanover has the X2.

Miami, FL - Had one in hand look identical to the X, The VZ rep could not figure out how to get past the activation so i was unable to compare the X2 with 2.2 and my X with 2.3 but from the specs...no Front Cam no 4g..NO X2 for me pointless. I record alot of Vids of my kids, if the Thunder had an HMDI out I would of dropped my X for it. In the mean time Ill be waiting for an X with fromt Cam, 4g and the usual bells n ......

Not to mention that the camera is super super fast now. the continuous focus is great and the picture quality is excellent. I'm loving this phone so much. All the goddies of the original and improvements.

The THD games look excellent.

Can you please post a thread with some pic examples. Camera is very important to me.

Well, I finally got it. Had to go thru local Best Buy as the local verizon stores would only ship me one and that was no different than me going online and buying it. I did go verizon online to order my accessories as they have some good deals right now during launch week. My best buy would not honor costco price or my verizon upgrade discount, so will need to go back on thursday when verizon stores can sell them to get my price match. Coming from a blackberry tour, this is a great upgrade so far. Cannot put it down!

I am using a DInc with CM7 + Tiamat kernel
I don't care for 4G, I don't even know if it's in my area but nonetheless I am not worried about it at all.
I don't care for FFC, I don't use Skype/Google Talk video calls or any of that on my phone. That's why I have a PC.

Now, would upgrading from the DInc to the DX2 be a smart move? Or should I just wait and see other phones coming out?

The DInc is a solid phone, the rest of my family has it.

If you want to play games, and do a lot of intense work on your phone, and/or want the HDMI mirroring, thats when I would suggest it.

The 8650 and Adreno 200 -> Tegra 2 and GeForce ULP is a HUGE improvement. (like ginormous)
However, you are then faced with a locked bootloader, and the unlikeliness of truly custom roms.

So it's up to you. If power > customization get this. Otherwise I'd say wait for a dual-core non-locked down phone.

Ah yes, I forgot Motorola has locked bootloaders.

I love my DInc, and I have it rooted and ROM'd and always testing new ROM's out just to see the features and all that. Definitely no "hacker" of sorts, and don't develop or code. Though, I do like having the freedom of having a rooted phone, that I can do whatever I want with. I would rather have customization, then power. So thanks for answering my question.

I just picked on up at my bestbuy in Sherman oaks ca. I was the first one to buy from they but they had about ten in stock. The reps didn't even know they had it until I asked them to check their system.

I really REALLY wish they had not lost the physical camera button :(

I would wait if I were you. You already passed on The TBolt and there will be a whole slew of better devices coming this year. I am not saying the DX2 isn't a great phone because by all accounts it is, but you already have a great phone (which is still being supported) and a number of AMAZING devices are coming later this year.
