Anyone seen the Lollipop OTA?

Supposedly the update was supposed to start yesterday, has anyone seen it?

They haven't posted it to the factory image site so maybe the stories yesterday were a lie.

Looks like the release is delayed until November 12th

Everything is speculation unless confirmed by Google. Even then, availability dates are subject to change. We have factory images for the Nexus 9 and TV, and have AOSP updated to 5.0. Hopefully it's not long before the other Nexus devices and GPe models begin receiving their updates.

No OTA yet. My N5 is on the Sprint network. Is there a site that has the OTA binary file for download? I've done a SideLoad before and would do that again if I could find the Lollipop download image.

No link to OTA download since the OTA has not been released. The update process should be the same as prior ones, where the OTA can be sideloaded.

Now have read on Android Headlines that just today, a Google Engineer stated they have successfully completed fixing the battery drain bug in Android L for the Nexus 5 but didn't state when the OTA will be available.

Yes I've read that it was fixed yesterday and it is supposed to be released at 12 Nov.

Doesn't really matter to me. I bought nexus 5 for guaranteed updates not to get it first. I am pretty sure that our N5 will get few next big updates as well but can G3 promise the same?

The Moto X 2014 has something in the works as well. We all want the update. Getting the update that works is what I as a consumer wants, and expects to be delivered once it is released. It's no surprise that other OEMs are producing the update so fast, considering the early availability of 5.0 (Lollipop).
