Anyone still holding onto that Note 20 ultra?

Man, I'll admit... I miss my Note 20 Ultra. When I bought my refurbished one in 2024, it didn't last long before it started to have issues... Screen burn, and the camera began to act janky. By the end of me having it after a year, it basically wouldn't focus anymore. Which was sad, because honestly, when the images were good, they were REALLY good IMO. Some of the best I've used on a phone.
In August 2025, I traded it in for the S23 Ultra.

It's mostly been a good move. However, I still really liked that Note 20U. :( What I wish I would have done was got an actual reliable one back in the day when they were available from Samsung renewed. Third party refurbished... I've never had long term success with. Samsung? yes.

A moment of silence for the Note 20 family.

Just got S26U. Writing this on my N20U i got new from Verizon over 5 and a half years ago. Decent battery life, no cracks front or back (dropped a thousand times with the thinnest of cases). No crashes, glitches, or noticeable screen burn . I do have camera focus issue. But developed habit of tapping it any time i change focus distance. Or just locking the focal length and moving the phone. I'm on my 3rd slim case. Got my s26u (for $475+tax after VZW port code loyalty discount, and stayed on the cheapest plan), went to clean up my old phone... The back fell off! Glue went bad. So no more waterproofing. But i get to swap for a new oem battery with zero effort. $18 on ebay. Slowly transitioning to the 26U.
My previous phone was a note 8. Still worked great after 3 years or whatever. Gave it to my mom and she ran it over with her car, and it STILL worked! 🤯 Needed new screen

Replaced my original Aug 2020 battery, with a "new" OEM from Sep 2020. More than doubled my 12 hour capacity, after well over 3,000 charge cycles to 100%, and 5 and a half years of daily use (for work and personal). Capacity now over 3 DAYS with minimal use as a 2nd phone after switching to 26U. Just need to re-glue the back, hopefully make it waterproof again.
Slim, lightweight, indestructible, edge screen, zero lag, SD slot, AND still has Samsung messages app working in the US in 2026!! Best phone i ever owned.
But my friend did break 2 refurbished N20U's almost immediately after buying both
