Anyone successfully getting metadata to display when bluetooth streaming?

I've had no luck getting metadata (song, artist, track info) to display on my 2014 Audi when bluetooth streaming from my GS3. Pandora hasn't worked, neither has Slacker or Spotify. However, the built-in music apps on the phone DO work. Anyone getting this to work on internet music apps? Thanks

I've only tried the Music app and some other 3rd party local music players. Only the stock Music app would send metadata to my car (subaru). I haven't tried Pandora or other streaming apps but your experience sounds consistent with mine. I hear Kitkat has some bluetooth enhancements so hopefully things will improve.

Same here. No metadata to my Dodge or Chrysler. It used to send it to the Chrysler before the last update though.

I found another one. Samsung's milk also sends meta data.
By the way, this data is being displayed in a Chevy Volt. I believe Panasonic wrote the software.

It may send it, but my car still doesn't display it. I think it's a Dodge/Chrysler issue for me though. It did show data in a Toyota Sienna and Honda Civic that I rented.

I'll give Milk a try...though my GS3 vibrates like crazy (haptic feedback) with Samsung Milk, and I can't seem to fix the problem

My display list on my 2013 Volt with Panasonic console software

  • Pandora
    Milk
    Google Music Play
    Samsung Music Player
    YouTube app
As with everyone else, Spotify does not display song metadata on my Volt's console.
