Simple question. It may have been asked before. I'm asking cause I like the 2XL but size is annoying. I ordered a Pixel 2 to see if I'd prefer that size phone. I know the bezels are larger but one handed usability is what I'd prefer.

I went from 2xl down to the 2. Mainly due to size. Though i do miss the more modern design sometimes.

I switched.. Bezels don't even bother me like I thought they would. And I had the FIRST phone with the new aspect ratio.. The LG G6 on launch. So I'm used to it. But hey I don't miss it like I thought I would.

Another reason I switched back to a pixel 2. I went through three 2XL's. First one had a half pink half green tint to the screen. Second one was the same but with dead pixels at the bottom. Then the third had a dead pixel and a faint but easily noticeable line going across the screen at the bottom.

I wish they made the pixel 2 with the new aspect ratio like all the other new phones that are out. Not sure why google didn't do this, it's keeping me from switching from my iPhone X. The pixel 2 XL was just too big for me and the blue tint bothered me too much.

That LG made OLED isn't ready for primetime.

I feel like I'm one of the only ones out there who actually enjoys bezels... Lool. I like the mini Pixel 2!

Well I have been been trying talk myself down to the Pixel 2, but I am just enjoying the 2 XL too much!

I could have switched yesterday. I returned my 2 XL at Verizon and picked up a new one at Target, basically to get the $250 gift card minus the $35 restocking fee :)

Both of my units have been great. I honestly believe that the blue-ness in the shift has been toned down compared to initial display units I saw at that store. The shift is still there but doesn't look so dramatic to my eyes.

Ultimately for me, I like the extra screen real estate, but I really like the extra battery capacity. I know the regular Pixel does great with it's battery too. The more modern look and Panda/Storm trooper style also won me over.

Really I feel like I couldn't have gone wrong with either model.

Hopefully next year both will be the same minus the screen resolution and battery.

I love the look and screen size of the 2XL and tempted to try one more time as they are on sale from boxing day(down to $1099aud here in Aus) . Still don't know what to do. My 5" 2 has been flawless.

I got the black Xl last week and so far all is good...knock on wood. Thinking of returning it for 128 version but I'm worried that it may have issues.

I'm enjoying the 2 XL and not bothered by the off angle color shift. The android experience is top notch on both XL and regular pixel 2. Battery life camera performance is superb.
