Launched today:
5.7-inch TFT LCD, 2560x1440 resolution (520 ppi)
Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core @ 1.8GHz
3000 mAh battery
3GB RAM
21MP f/2.0 camera
16GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage options
microSD card
Price $400
There's 2 main things I can spot right away that will deter S6 owners: The display is TFT LCD instead of the much better but more power hungry IPS LCD. There's no OIS in the camera. OTOH the battery life may prove to be better and besides the obvious price difference, getting the Pure Edition would also mean less carrier interference, less bloatware, faster updates
