Anyone thinking of getting one?

I just left Best Buy, this tablet is so thin! The weight is hard to judge because it's strapped to the anti theft cables etc.
It looks good, think I'm posting my iPad Mini on Swappa tonight!

I had the exact same reaction when I saw it at Best Buy.... I didn't think it was possible to make tablets thinner than Apple... guess Samsung proved them wrong!

Yeah, crazy thing is when the person there told me that the 10.5 weighs the same as the Note 3 phone! Also mentioned there is a Samsung keyboard case coming out in a week or so that will rival the slim Logitech for iPad or keyboard for Surface.

I never had a problem with the ADP from bby. I've always had them junk it out then (issue a gift card) or give me the next gen up if it's deleted. It has to be thoroughly messed up though like screen stepped on and everything crushed. Square trade also does refurbished ... none of them are usually new.

Did a Best Buy employee tell you that? Or was it the Samsung guy in the store?
I still have my old Note 3. The Tab S 10.5 does NOT weigh the same as the Tab S 10.5....

Galaxy Note 3 = 5.97oz
Galaxy Tab S 10.5 = 16.40oz
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 = 10.37oz

Yeah I'm sorry that sounds like wrong info.. The note is no where near a pound as the tab S is a pound 10.5 a little under for the 8.4- I'm hoping it was the bestbuy guy that told you that and not the Samsung.

The specs say the 10.5 is a tad heavier than the Z2 tablet. I'm on my Z2 right now and it's the lightest. I'm switching because the improved display and bigger battery, but it was a tough choice. Anyone know if it can be rooted with Towelroot? I'm not a fan of TouchWiz.

Just saw both the 8 and 10 inch. I thought I would be in love with the Titanium but I think the grey has a better contrast. I played the sample movie on both the 8.4 and 10.5 and all I could say is wow. The detail was amazing it almost made me dizzy watching it.

I was going to go with the 8 inch tablet which is ultra cool but, I think I am going to go with the 10.5 despite the size. The screen is so much more immersive than the 8 inch. Now I just need to get to BB early. I heard that they are trying to build hype like they did with the Xbox 360 by limiting supply. I think BB had about 3 in stock of some of the colors. Maybe more are coming on the truck tomorrow but idk.

Check forum Tab S 10.5 I posted my box with my Tab S. Yes I got the 10.5 as it is amazing for the size and octocore processor. Well due to pre orders in Your area I would get their early I can tell u they maybe got 5-10 of each.
