I use Next 3D and it doesn't have that kind of setting, but it runs buttery smooth anyway.

I also like to set at 0 instead of .5 but it makes the recent windows really annoying to use. That's end up being the only animation I can't live without, so I set mine at .5

The animation scale isn't really speeding up overall performance. It's like replacing an econobox with a sports car. Sure, it'll save you a little time getting from one job to another, but it won't help you work those jobs any faster.

Thank goodness for Google's Opinion Rewards. Actually, what I don't like about it is they have zero customer service. By zero, I mean they never reply to emails or Facebook posts asking questions.

It actually does a lot. Unless you never open or switch between apps and only stay on your launcher...

I've tried it before and never noticed a difference, except when using the stock launcher to swipe between screens, open the app drawer, etc. I may play around with it, but not expecting much difference on the V20.
