Anyone use a phone cooler?

I've never heard of these before! Wow! I guess even phones need a break from the summer heat. 🤣
 
Your link is broken, so not exactly sure what you are trying to get it. And yes, AGM batteries are popular too, but it still remains that car batteries can handle the heat better and not a valid comparison.

Though now I'm curious what electric vehicles are doing to protect their Li-ion packs. They don't have to handle the same extreme heat of an engine bay, but I wouldn't want to own one in the American southwest. I do know they implement better charging protocols, but that doesn't translate to phones, nor does it address the heat related issues. My guess is they are designed beefier to resist the heat stress, but again, that doesn't translate to phones and the push for thin designs.
 
If the batteries in a phone can't take getting HOT while charging.
There is a problem with them.
It's actually the other way around. If your battery gets extremely hot, there could be an issue with the battery. Batteries may also get warm to hot if you are using a lot of resources while charging.
