Anyone use wireless charging overnight?

I could be wrong, but lately my phone's wireless charging will pause sometime through the night and the only common variable here seems to be when I get a new Gmail.

This is odd. I use do not disturb, so the notification is silent. Not sure why it's doing that. Other app notifications through the night don't seem to bother it.

Use focus mode from the settings, it will silence all notifications unless you add to the allowed list

Thanks for the suggestion, but the notification is silent. All I get is an icon in the status bar. Would that be enough to cause the wireless charging to pause? Seems like a glitch in the Android OS.

Shouldn't, don't know why it's doing this. Try this, there will be no notification in the tray until you turn it off. When you turn focus off all your notifications will instantly be there. I like it so when I wake up in middle of night I don't see notifications and get tempted to look at them.

At least try this and see if it still does it to see if the Gmail notifications are doing it.

What makes you think wireless charging is "pausing"?

1) I already use DND

2) because the phone stops charging and when I pull from the charger, I get a TOAST notification stating wireless charging was paused

Every time you take it off the wireless charger, it will say charging is paused. Doesn't matter what charge level the phone is at when you take it off. (I'm not saying it's not stopping the charge for you prior to that, just referring to the toast message)

Also the indicator light on the Samsung Duo charging pad is flashing red (instead of solid red).

Plus the phone is only charged partially, even though it had been on the charger all night.

Something definitely doesn't seem right. Do you have another charger? I use an Anker wireless stand every night and it's worked great.
