anyone using Otterbox Defender and tempered glass screen protector? is it a tight fit?

I've been using the Otterbox Defender case with my G4 for a while. My G4 already had the Spigen film protector on it, so I popped off the Defender's built-in protector and used it like that.

Now the Spigen film protector is a litte scratched up and I want to take it off and put on a tempered glass screen protector.

If anyone is using the Defender case with tempered glass screen protector... is it a tight fit?

I used to use a Defender case with my Note 4. I installed a iCarez tempered glass screen protector on the Note 4, pulled the built-in plastic off the case and had no fit problem at all. The case has a lot of room as long as you don't stick a 1/4" piece of glass on your phone. ;-)

I did the same on my Note 2, 3, 4, and now 5. No problems putting a tempered glass screen protector on the phone while using the Otterbox Defender case. The G4, however, is a little challenging. Even with the thing film protector, it was already extremely tight in the middle, probably due to the cuved screen.

I have read that the Defender will not fit the leather back G4's at all. Would love to get one but would also have to get a plastic back.
