Trying to activate a project Fi Sim in slot 2. Having no luck yet. Any ideas? Entered the project fi apn settings, should I try entering Tom? As of now I can't text or call with the project Fi Sim .

I have seen a few post saying it is compatible. Just limited to a t-mobile connection.
Im assuming you have a fi account. When you get your sim, cantact support and ask them to activate it. Once your fi sim is activated, your axon 7 will work on fi but will only connect to T-Mobile towers.I just ordered the Sim from Google, not sure I want to buy another phone just to activate the Sim. How does one go about activating the Sim online? But again I'm using the Axon 7, it isn't a Verizon device. I'm using a Verizon sim in the phone now though.
I was able to activated the Fi via ProjectFi app installed on Axon 7. I made a call and received a call. However, I was not able to send or receive text messages. But I didn't play around with the settings as much.

My Fi is still active and had used it with my Nexus 6P for months. I gave my 6P to my son. This is the same Fi SIM I have.Hmmmm, interesting because your texts follow your phone number. Did you port your number to project fi?
