I asked this question in another thread and it was answered affirmatively. Haven't received mine yet. Are you using paid edition?

Are you using the paid or trial edition? Did you try the PDA net method? The PDA app is the sister app that uses a USB connection.

I believe you also need to first switch your security to a PIN. You can change back later after it gets working-assuming it does.

This was on an S4 on Verizon, YMMV. I have an S7E on order (Verizon) so I'm hoping it works for you.

I used both on my note 3 and att sent me a notice saying they were changing my plan to a mobile share plan.

The unlimited data plan does not allow Hotspot functionality so you are breaking your terms and conditions trying to do so. Switch to a mobile share plan and just use the Hotspot toggle on the phone. That has worked great a few times I have used it.
