Anyone with kind all the sudden onset of battery issues?

I have to close Facebook some too when I think about it. Closing lots of my open windows helped me some though. I'm still not anywhere like I used to be. Makes me want to just get a 64g now. I say that just to justify getting a 64g lol. Nothing to do with a better battery lol.

Why not configure Facebook and those other apps you feel are eating battery to close when the screen locks? EMUI has some great battery optimization options just for you!

For me, I have done that and I dont push Facebook notifications to lock screen and I have disabled almost all type of notifications (like for comments, likes etc.,) from Facebook.

At the end of day, if Facebook is something you use extensively and need it, then it is doing its job.

The issue is it seems like Facebook's app is ignoring those restrictions. I keep finding it in my running apps even though I closed it, it's restricted from background data, and closes when the screen locks.

Yeah I really think they have. I've about decixed that I'm going to back up one good time to cloud and perform a total factory reset and more or less start over. There will be quite a few apps that I will cut out and it'll kind of be like getting a new honor lol. I'll definitely get my favorite font back but in general cut back on all the built up clutter. I tend to do a reset every once in a while if I end up keeping a phone longer than 5 or 6 months. One can't help but just build up unnecessary apps and data over time. I believe this will definitely give my battery new life.

Great plan! Let us know how things go! :)

Hmm..For me every time I open Facebook it does a full reload as you open the app first time.

I don't use Facebook as much as I used to but my Facebook has been on mine since day one and my battery seemed much better back then. It also maybe me and my mind playing a trick on me as right now I don't have a second back up phone so I'm on my Honor 8 a good bit more lately. I'm in the middle of deciding on the Mate 9 as my second phone and there are a couple other phones I'm considering two. So probably me being on it exclusively along with the 50 plus Windows I had open was drinking battery juice like crazy. Hopefully once I get settled in with my second phone it will become a non issue and then I'll know this was the problem. Even still said, my battery isn't horrible. It's still pretty stout but I'm not used to seeing it get much below 50 percent hardly ever. It's probably just me and my mind guys.
