Anyone with N4 considering HTC ONE?

I'm definitely not switching from a pure Google Android experience to the HTC One, but I would love one. That is the most beautifully designed uni-body phone I have seen since the iPhone 4

Could argue that with skinned phones, most likely you wont even notice Android upgrades anymore. In fact when skinned phones get upgraed alot of times they run worse!! Possibly because the newest version of Android is always coded to run on the latest hardware at the time, whereas Joe Schmo's phone is a few skips behind.

And it looks pretty clear to me now that Samsung is going to make a play at completely forking Android, creating something completely different. It may not even be Android.

At this stage I think a Nexus is simply a way to get an affordable quality phone off contract new in the box

The Nexus 4 is my first Google device. Stock Android has won me over and there's no way I can ever go back.

Isn't the One shipping with 4.1.2? By the time HTC updates it to 4.2.2, we'll probably have had 5.0 for weeks/months.

That's very likely. It happened that way with the S3 and OneX with 4.1 did it not?

Design and material, mostly good. But how can you tolerate that big HTC button, front and center!
