I think the only thing bothering me about the LTE service in Chicago is areas I was seeing LTE speeds of 15,000 + mbps a few weeks ago is now only pushing out averages of 5,000 mbps.
Two thoughts..
1. Is this Sprint still testing and powering things up so they aren't running these towers at maximum speeds?
2. More people now realize 4g LTE is active in these areas and this is already the backlash affect of devices already putting a strain on the network and causing the speeds to suffer and drop dramatically?
Sure this is still a huge step for many that were lucky to see in the hundreds for 3g speeds but I really hope this isn't the best Sprint has if the reason for these speeds is due to #2.

This is especially evident at Louis Joliet Mall off I-55 and Route 30 where over a month ago I pulled down some 30,000+mbps screenies I posted in this thread.. Went by there yesterday and pulled 4 mbps.... Same exact area I drove thru and parked at before....I feel you on this. I got 22mbps a while ago. Now I'm getting 4

Do you guys think that Sprint is just testing or do you think Sprints network being overloaded already? Besides the LTE enabled Android phones there's a slew of Iphone 5 newbies out there.
Looks to be sometime this month according to s4gru.com which seems to have had the most reliable information following the Sprint Network Vision upgrade process around the country.Does anyone know when the official LTE launch is?
