I got the email that my phone shipped on Wednesday with an expected delivery for Friday. It didn't move for 24 hours and when it did the delivery date was changed to today. However FedEx status shows it is still in transit and it has been like that for 2 days. I'm in the North East so FedEx usually needs to go through the hub in New Jersey but the package has not even made it there. I'm working the next few days so it will then have to sit because my schedule is 10 shifts. I thought I would have it today too enjoy while off and the wife was going away for the day with her sisters. FedEx either my introduction moment of just me and my Pixel 6 256gb in Sorta Seafoam.

I've never met a more incompetent shipping company. No update since yesterday morning when it showed out for delivery and now I'm more than likely won't get until Monday. This was just a disaster all around.

No, on the Ring doorbell I saw a FedEx guy leave it so quickly that I only saw him getting back into the truck. The box was left near my door, not even a doorbell ring.

Just got my Pix Six delivered by FedEx. Transfered everything from 5a. Am now downloading the security update and optimizing apps. Yes, the fingerprint sensor is finicky. The glass is gg victus, same as my s21ultra, but when I tap with fingernail it sounds like that cheap gg 3 that is on the "lesser" phones. Tap on the s21ultra sounds solid.

I posted in my first impressions the other day that the front display screen... Feels like plastic, hollow, rather than solid glass. I wonder if there's space under the display causing this... With all the 'give'.

Yeah, I have had my tantrum to my husband already LOL, still pissed but I'll just stop refreshing my tracking screen and just drink wine and wait for Monday..ugh LOL

So glad I found and picked my Pixel 6 at my local best buy store Friday. The one which was supposed to be shipped and arrived on Friday from Best buy is still sitting at estimated delivery date and god knows when it'll actually arrive
Since it's already shipped I can't cancel it and will have to wait till FedEx to get their act together and then return to Best buy when I receive it.


I have said I generally haven't had that much issue from FedEx but oh boy they are seriously struggling with logistics and failing to deliver on time. Too many examples and god help people during holiday shopping season

Google gave my Pixel 6 Pro to OnTrac on the 27th. No one knows where it is now. I wish they'd stop using OnTrac. The Buds came UPS, no problem.

Update: OnTrac's tracking specifically says No Saturday Delivery. That plus an updated delivery date of 11/1 made me think "no new phone this weekend". One more Halloween with my Oh So Orange 4XL. Then, like the crazy pixel fan i am, I checked tracking again today. OnTrac now says its expected today 10/31 and its Out For Delivery. I wouldn't hate OnTrac so much if they just told me what's really going on... (that's assuming they know though). I did request they notify me by email about the delivery (via the website AND on phone calls to general customer service and to my local facility)--that must mean actual delivery only because they've been silent.

Yeah FedEx home is better in terms of they will deliver weekend when compared to ground. But the home still is ground shipping. Both suck and are slow, your main concern will be FedEx getting the package moving thru their network to begin with. The screen shot above I posted is also FedEx home (Best buy order). Best buy sent information to FedEx on Thursday for Friday delivery (Portland source to Seattle destination). It's Saturday and still sitting at information sent to FedEx and they haven't even picked up.

FedEx is no better, looks like UPS is the only one keeping up with shipping logistics challenges to some extent. All my many Apple and other gadgets recently which have shipped thru UPS all delivered without any problem on time. FedEx seems to be having lot of trouble and looks like Ontrac is also same.

Unfortunately all my Google store orders from prior experience have been only FedEx or Ontrac to me. They have never used UPS for my orders and I have ordered a lot from them
