Anyone's phone shipping yet?

If it's FedEx ground, I don't believe they deliver on Saturday.
I've had FedEx delivery on Saturday and Sunday. These were orders from Amazon. I've also had Sunday deliveries by the US Post Office. Bizzaro world it is.

I was told by a FedEx driver the sender determines the yes/no on weekend deliveries - Amazon yes - Google no - ??

The only important fact out of all this nonsense is have phone or no have phone.

Every shipping company delivers on weekend if you choose a shipping service that delivers weekend. Most orders that ship from Google, Apple, Samsung and most companies ship via standard weekday delivery service. For example even expedited next day shipping from Google is standard overnight, so if ships on Friday it'll still only deliver on Monday. They don't choose weekend delivery since that's going to more expensive.

Amazon sure that's a different beast and they handle logistics differently.

I have also had deliveries from FedEx on Saturdays but for some odd reason, with this package, I won't get it until Monday. Maybe it was determined by Google for no Saturday deliveries.

Check you tracking details and it'll say weekday delivery only

FedEx Ground delivers to residential addresses 7 days/week. It's only business addresses that are limited to M-F.

And go figure, mind is sitting at the local hub as of this morning schedule for delivery at my office on Monday, and I can't just go pick it up today as it's already been loaded on the truck.

Just finished selling my Pixel 5 locally for $450 cash. Posted yesterday night and done with it morning. Someone got themselves a mint condition Pixel 5 with Google fabric case and dbrand grip case. Easy transaction for me not dealing with shipping for trading and all those online sites like Swappa etc. Love local selling

Well I checked my shipments (can you believe not even my buds have arrived yet?!) and supposedly both the buds and the phone were shipped via FedEx Home Delivery and is supposed to be delivered by end of day today but in FedEx language that can mean anytime between today and the end of all time.

I told myself I'd be nonchalant about the delivery and today I woke up thinking "is it today?! will it be today? is this finally it? is it in a FedEx location in my city? when was the last time I ate?!"

My 6 is presently "out for delivery".

It was scheduled for delivery on Monday, so if I get it today I am two days ahead of schedule. It was scanned on the truck for delivery at 0548 today.

That sounds good to me.

ETA: It arrived at 1437. I am impressed, but I think they should have left the fingerprint reader where it was, and not switched to an optical one. (or whatever it was that they switched to)

Subjectively, it is a really, really nice phone without any of the quibbling, niggling criticism. which is being generated by those who likely get paid by the word.

A determined search for dissatisfaction is bound to succeed.

I posted in my first impressions the other day that the front display screen... Feels like plastic, hollow, rather than solid glass. I wonder if there's space under the display causing this... With all the 'give'.

HOLLOW...that's the word I was thinking of. Yes, I wonder if there is a space between them.

FedEx Home delivery includes weekends as well...not 100%. Guess I'll see tomorrow

Was about to say this as I got my fold 3 delivered on a Sunday. With FedEx you never really know when you'll truly get your delivery lol.
