anything youre NOT happy with the s5?

This. Mine fell off, but luckily I glued it back and it holds really well, you can't even tell. Still wondering how long will that work...

I rest my case.

My husband & I both have T-Mobile Galaxy S5's & really have no real issues.

I had one little problem where sometimes my calls went straight to voice mail. I had wifi calling enabled & I think my signal was weak here at my home.
I disabled the feature & all is fine.

We don't cram a ton of apps on our phones, so I think that helps keep them running smooth & stretches the battery life. :D

The wife and I both have s5's and as of now are both happy with them. When lollipop first hit I couldn't have hated it any more than I did then.

The battery drain was terrible at best, it ran hot, and it got irritating as hell.

I drive a truck and I use my phone quite often, with earpiece of course, and having to charge it 2-3 times a day was a drag.

After the last update, OC4, things got back more like they were. Battery life was as good of not better, it doesn't get hot anymore and it doesn't lag like it did.

I'm back to loving it again! Oh, I'm on verizon, incase that makes a difference...

I'm glad to hear that the OC4 release is an improvement for you... although, to be fair, it couldn't have been much worse.

It does make a difference that you are on Verizon's version of Lollipop as this is NOT a Samsung firmware release, unlike the 200+ Lollipop firmwares, currently, released worldwide for the Galaxy S5 by Samsung. See #1.6 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide.

I am on Vzw and no issues here. I would purchase again without hesitation. I came from the S3 so am familiar with the Samsung look and feel.
I know lots of folks have issues with lollipop. For myself, I did a factory reset after the update just to be safe and the stability, performance and battery life are great. I find the finger print reader and pedometer useless, but that's more of a usability thing, and not a problem with the phone itself.

Ok, so are you saying that it's better or worse to be on the Verizon release? Lol
I was actually going to ask if Verizon was going to release 5.1 or 5.2. I still have 5.0.

Since you know your model, G900F, as per #1.2 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide, you will now need your CSC, (Customer Software Customisation), code, as per #1.8. This determines which of the 200+ firmwares for the G900F model, you are eligible for.

No problems for me at all. Loving my S5 since almost a year ago... Well actually there is one problem, I can never put my phone down... I think I'm addicted

I also am happy with mine, in terms of performance. But one thing I'm not too happy about is to have had to put some $50 more into a $600 phone, to get wireless (Qi) charging. Sheesh.

BTW the S6 does include Qi but has enough downsides that my wife and I will be keeping our S5s as long as possible.

I love everything about my s5. With this app i even get ios emojis because lets be real, samsung emojis just dont beat ios emojis. I love android much more than ios manly because the openness. Being able to download music from the web. The large screen. Although i do find myself frustrated by little things. Such as snapchat features not on android. The pixelated ness and horrible focus in snapchat. Other than that i love it.

Its been almost a year since making my s5 my daily driver. (Coming off from my blackberry Q10 and Htc One M7)

So far im very satisfied and impressed with this device.
Here is my Personal PROS/CONS

1. Good water resistance (Tested in saltwater splashes while boating)
2. Impressive AMOLED Screen
3. Extremely good Camera especially during daylight. Still can rival current flagship phones as of today
4. Easy access to 3rd party accesories

CONS:
1. Not so loud loudspeaker which i miss from my old HTC one M7
2. Protruding camera at the back which i feel OC when putting the phone down Naked so i put on a case regularly.
3. The faux metal edge can be scratched easily (Hairline scratches)
4. Touchwiz, due to mainly having less customizations like themes etc. Also has huge Icons which cannot be adjusted

Other than that i would still recommend this phone because the CONS are only minor ones. Im very happy and satisfied with this phone and would not (yet) upgrade to an S6 due to its lack of water resistance.
Water resistance is important to me because here in our country, it is always raining! lol

Locked bootloader on Verizon sux :(.....Can't install custom recoveries on Lollipop!

i have 2 question though....

why does the led not light up when charging?
when i charge my s5,i will tend to use it for awhile after that when i off the screen the led would not light up i must on the screen and off it again to make it light up?is it me or anyone else having this issue?

qn 2)my music picture does not have the bubbles effect popping out after 5.0.on kit kat when i press the picture there would be coloured bubbles animation now i do not have it anymore..

got fix for this both?

90% of what I dislike is Verizon-related:
- locked bootloader (I don't root, but I'd like to have the option, in case I change my mind)
- stupid CD installer that you can't remove WITHOUT rooting
- all the bloatware and carrier-level customizations to the regular phone that basically locks OS updates to the carrier rather than the manufacturer
- that it doesn't work with Android Auto (yet) due to the above

the one thing I don't like that is not carrier related, is that on the 16GB model, so much is taken up for "system memory". I use a microSD card for my junk that doesn't really need to be on the phone, and that's the way I prefer it. But honestly, on a Samsung phone, 32GB and up is the way to go (again, Verizon). I really wanted a Note 4, but my old phone "died" before it was released. I'll probably go with a Note (provided Samsung doesn't screw it up on the next iteration) for my next phone. TouchWiz is mostly poo poo, but Nova Launcher (even the free version) basically undoes a lot of it.

now, coming from a DROID 4 (my first smartphone ever), there's a lot I like about this phone. For one, finding cases, accessories, spare parts (like batteries, etc) isn't an issue. I like that outside of its case, it's a relatively thin phone. I like the water resistance. I like the removable battery, I like the microSD card support. The actual utility of Samsung accounts (I use Memo a lot) also recently was proven to me.
