Anyway for an app to wake up my display like an incoming call does?

I have an S21+ and use a tire pressure monitoring app called FOBO Bike 2 that uses bluetooth to notify if my motorcycle tires loses air past a certain psi. Anyway the problem I have is that when I open the app and after the display times out and turns off, the screen does not turn back on when the app sends a notification that the pressure is low. The app continues to run in the background but does not wake up my display.

Is there any setting I am missing to get the notifications to wake up my display like an incoming call does?

TIA.

Might want to try in the 'Always On Display' setting, the "show for new notifications' option.

Basically, it keeps the display off until you get a notification. Then it gives you whatever image or clock you set up as your always on display - in addition to the notification of the app.

I suggest using thr ClockFace app from Samsung (on the Samsung Galaxy Store) to further customize it.

You can try AODnotify app in play store it has deeper settings or in accessibility settings flash screen for notifications
