AOD Function is broken

Well, been a few weeks since i use AOD which shows notifications, time and home button and i noticed other than the time and music changing. Notifications like Ampere and Internet Speed Meter doesnt update real time on the AOD Notifications screen... So lets say when i lock the phone when Ampere is showing 1A and Internet Speed Meter is showing 500KB/s,it stays that way until i unlock the phone...

Any idea on how to get it to show real time?

The apps you use are not functional within AOD.

I did mail Ampere and they said it was supposed to work... I have not contacted Internet Speed Meter though.

You can also clear cache and data for the apps that don't work.

they worked on my Note 8...and my S8+ if im not mistaken.

I've never seen any ongoing notifications update in real time on AOD. I think by design it updates at intervals, like changing position every minute.

erm...they didnt change for hours...until i unlock screen ...

yes they have not worked on my S9+ before ...and yes my S8+ and Note 8 had AOD...i didnt really pay attention but they didnt bother me until i did it with my S9+...

So if they worked before but don't work now, the issue is probably Android 8 on the new one vs earlier Android versions on the older phones.

Poke around in Android 8's preferences and settings, and in the app settings.

well,i just decided to turn it off.just AOD home button...
