AOD Issue

How do I get my AOD to stay on? I have went into the lock screen setting page and selected to have the AOD always on. When the screen turns off it shows up for a split second and then disappears. When I go back into the settings screen the toggle button is back to off on the AOD setting. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

I'd try turning off accidental touch protection to see if it's activating when it shouldn't.

I just turned off smart lock, restarted the phone and now AOD works. Thanks! First day having the phone and I came from an iPhone so still trying to learn everything.
