I am new the Android paradigm. I'm trying to understand the interrelationship with other services. My question is:
Is there a way to make my AOL calendar the default calendar so when I create new events they get put on the AOL Calendar instead of the Google Calendar? My Google Calendar is subscribed to my AOL Calendar's iCal address so I can display it on the phone. I want to create new events on the phone and have them show up on the AOL Calendar. Currently, new events default to the Google Calendar. In the Calendar app, if I uncheck the Google Calendar for sync'ing, the phone thinks I have no account configured and won't display the AOL Calendar, even though it is checked.
If the Calendar app has my Google account and my AOL Calendar checked for sync'ing and display, Settings -> Accounts -> Google shows a "Sync error" on the Calendar. Error says, "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." The last Sync date is 3 days ago.
I've powered the phone on/off several times. Contacts/Currents/App Data, etc. are sync'ing normally.
