[AOSP] LIQUIDSMOOTH-v1.25

Like I said, I don't know what it is. Both times today it happened while I was at my office desk. We are in a strong 4g area and I have never had a problem here before. And I've only had it happen this week. It is kinda of annoying to get a voicemail for a phone call that I was expecting and the phone never rang.

That occasionally happens to me too. Although it hasn't happened in quite some time. Never understood why.

Wow, I didn't think this Rom could be any better, but they are using a new Kernel and some nice new features. It's even more smooth and fast, and it's noticeable to me. Hoping for better battery life too and from what they are saying over at RootzWiki it is better. They also seemed to have fixed the typing lag that I was experiencing.

I just flashed this after installing AOKP B33 and this rom feels extremely fast. I'm very impressed and love the default Franco r142 kernel.

I'm asking to help not to be a dick. What's confusing you about v6? I'm sure the developer will update it for 1.3 soon, if he hasn't already.

For me, I don't see the need for the V6 supercharger (yet). The 1.3 is like 1.25 WITH the V6 and the 1.3 still plenty fast already for MY needs even though I downclocked it to 1036Mhz. (on the default franco 142 kernel) :D

so I want to do my 1st ROM with Liquid 1.3 so I downloaded the file and the extras and the new radio.
Do i install the extras like I would the 1.3 ROM without the wipe?

1- follow standard rom install guide by wiping, etc.
2- recovery and than liquid 1.3
3- than the 1.3 extras
4- than the new radio.

do I need to reboot in between each file?

Thanks,
Xanth

if I'm coming from 1.25 do I have to do a complete data wipe catch and dev all the same wipes if like switching roms?

Just from what I read about some others posted about the V6 supercharger acted like it wasnt real user friendly is why I mentioned that.
I havent actually used it yet. :)

i moved from axiom crossbreed (a month old) to liquid 1.3. not sure if i did it right. wiped dalvik and cache then installed the base download and extras. was surprised i didn't need to reinstall everything (i guess i didn't wipe application data with those maneuvers). anyway, haven't tested everything yet but what i have tested is working. what i have had, though, is two episodes now where i turned on the device and the screen was not responding to touch, requiring a battery pull. any thoughts? thanks.

You didn't wipe data. You will experience funky things if you don't wipe data. Unless a ROM Developer says that you don't need to wipe data, it is a given that you do.

What he said. Unless the rom developer says you don't need to wipe--and realistically, that's only going to happen if they are releasing "nightly" builds of the same rom--you must always wipe data ("factory reset").

In my own experience, the v6 did more harm than good. I got several SoDs and random reboots. And I have used this mod on my old Droid x and never had a single problem.
