Aperture Adjust Slider?

Maybe everyone else knows this but me, but I was playing around with the camera app. I'm in bed in a dark room. I have a clock that projects the digital clock onto the ceiling. I was trying to see if this ultra low light situation would show up in the camera in auto or mono mode. I touched the right side of the screen and a slider popped up, which adjusted the appetite, and allowed more or less light to appear in the screen. I haven't read about that feature previously. It was actually as sensitive as the naked eye at the maximum adjustment. I haven't had a chance to fully explore it's capabilities yet.

Update: it's adjusting the ISO speed. I'm wondering if everyone is aware of this feature to override for low light situations? This appears to be similar to the function I'm Google Camera, that when you toggle goes from +2.0 to -2.0 on a scale next to the slider. In the Essential camera, it appears to actually adjust the ISO, not the appetite.

Just played around a bit with it. You also get some sliders when using the portrait mode. You have one on the bottom that looks like an aperture adjustment and then the ISO adjuster you mentioned. Very cool in my opinioin.
