ApeX 1.2 Users ( Findings )

Have you guys messed around with any of the settings? If so post up any findings in here.

I noticed you can change the screen when you press the back button so instead of having it turn it can be like how it used to be. By going into the spare parts app that comes with the rom.

Anyone know how to change the sms theme? There's allot in there like iphone nokia backberry etc.. I click on them and see no change. Anyone know how to change this?

You might want to look for ADW THEMES in the MArket.

My favorite thing on Apex is the Scripts.

Scripts: Use in terminal emulator or through adb. For installation, removal, and switching of apps.

Remove/Restore Scripts:
-calc
-carhome
-dxeye
-genie
-launcher
-office
-tether

Switch Apps:
-alarm
-email
-gallery
-messaging

Install/Remove system apps: (warning, these are very powerful! Use with caution)
*Place desired file on /sdcard
-install
-uninstall

Miscellaneous:
-adblock
-cpuinfo
-sound
-sys
-zipalign_apks

Terminal is the sh!t. I put all kinds of apk files on my sd card and push them with that.

They are scripts you can type in terminal emulator as jkdjedi said. They are commands to switch apps, or install apks from your sd card, or mess with settings. If you watch the video of apex 1.2 you can see him use some of the scripts.

Anyone else have exchange issues? I love the rom, but exchange email is a issue. I guess its not really a prob with exchange....I connect fine setting up, and calendar syncs fine, but if I open the (Blur) email app it trys to sync for 10 seconds then just closes by itself. I have no task managment installed. I swapped for aosp email app and then its fine, but I loose use of Corporate Directory. Anyone else?

No workie........This isn't a case where blur corp sync email ap opens, and directlly closes, it will open, and try n sync email for 10-45 seconds, then close. I love this rom, but may have to go back to my flyx backup i've run forever!
