APK for KitKat on Nexus 4

I have seen some APK files floating around the internet for 4.4 hangouts v2 (which I am currently running) 4.4 camera, 4.4 keyboard, and 4.4 Google Experience Launcher. If all are installed on the Nexus 4 will this be the full 4.4 KitKat upgrade? Also will I still receive the OTA update if I decide to install all of these?

Technically, apps such as Hangouts are separate from the OS. They can be updated through the Play Store and you don't have to wait for a new OS version. Now if you install all the 4.4 apks and the launcher, in reality you'll just have a skinned 4.3.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. So you essentially are getting all the "skins" of 4.4 but not the overhaul and optimization. And the OTA will still be pushed to your device?
