TimeBoss 2.0
An easy to use timer application that lets you set multiple timers.

TimeBoss has several nice and unique features:
- Set unlimited (simultaneous) timers
- Save sets of timers for your tasks (e.g. 1 for workout and 1 for cooking)
- Custom settings per timer (ringtone, vibration, colours, behavior)
- Dirty hands? Wave to stop the alarm
- Full background operation (also when app is killed)
- Widget that shows the lowest alarm
- Timers can trigger the next/prev/first timer to create a (workout) schedule
- And more...

I'm very excited to hear any of your suggestions and ideas for improvements! :)
(if you would be so kind to share them)

Hope you like it!

Thanks!

Just release an update with some small user interface tweaks. I'm always open to suggestions. Will release another update over the weekend so I might just put your ideas in right away ;)

Is there any reason why you don't support older Android version than 3.0?

Hi Arganxon,

Thanks for your question. There is. This is technical, but in Android 3, a new way of handling fragments was introduced. The timers are in a fragment (piece of code that can easily be re-used). There is some legacy code available that will support older devices, but this is not compatible with the new fragment handler. Therefore I had to make a choice and I chose to use the modern version, which is fully supported by Android. I feel that this will give better overall performance (also towards the future) on new phones (which is by far the largest market for me anyway).

Otherwise, I made the App compatible to as many devices as I could of course (I just didn't want to make compromises on performance).

Hope this answers your question :)

Yes thanks. :)

It is shame because I am sure I can definitely find use for this app, but my old device has 2.3.3 version so it's out of my reach :(

Nice to hear that you like it! ;)
(at least from the pictures)

There are a couple of sites that monitor the distribution of OS versions over all phones, for example:
http://www.droid-life.com/tag/distribution/

The sub 3.2 OS market is still 6-7%, so quite substantial. But the majority can use the TimeBoss timer and stopwatch app. It's a choice thing... Sorry O:-)

Thanks for the support. 500+ installs in little over a month after release.

Also, thanks for all suggestions. The latest release now works with themes to easily set your background and colors. Of course everything can still be adjusted, but I feel this works much more intuitive now.

Just received the 30th review on Google Play (4,8 rating on average so far), so quite happy now!! Thanks for all who contributed.
