Price changed

Yeah, I got that letter multiple times over the last three days. Finally stopped today and put hands on the ZF7. I had decided not to buy but after hands on I just placed my order a few minutes ago. I had the ZF6 but only kept it about 4 months because I didn't like the weight or size of the thing but the ZF7 feels like a different phone. Hope it still feels that way after a few months!
 
I just wished stupid Samsung didn't generate labels one week before they actually ship. This way we had much more flexibility in cancelling and reordering lol.

While I'm happy I got the least possible price, it still sucks to refuse delivery or return the first pre-order which can't be cancelled. I need to now stress about a return phone and trade-in

Sucks being first . I usually wait a few days now to make sure I'm getting the best deal especially when I know it's not a model that will sell out.

I ended up ordering today because the price went down almost 300 dollars with additional discounts. My date says August 14th for an unlocked 512 blue so I'll have to be patient. I had a little over $40 in Samsung rewards and had a visa gift card with $225 on it so split payment made it much more reasonable. I really liked the fold 6 with the exception of the thickness and went to the s25 ultra because of that but this one may work out well for me. Not a huge spen user either so for my needs it may just work out.
 
Ok, that is a new price shown on the Samsung App. Thank you! What the hell is Samsung doing? I hope they'll credit the differences.

After 1 hour on the phone with a supervisor I was promised a price match guarantee to my order of $85 within 24 to 48 hrs. We'll see. If I don't get it by Tuesday I will simply refuse delivery and press on with my S25U. Samsung customer service has never been good, but this go round is the worst ever. While the Korean reps speak English, there's, nevertheless something lost in the translation. It shouldn't take an hour plus for a price match. Just saying.

They told me I would have to reorder the one with cheaper price and return the original order when I get it. I was told they would give me a $100 promo credit when the phone ships. I'll see.

Some say they are going to get a refund but I have yet found one on this or previous orders that actually refunded, it was either return it or get a promo credit.

I also noticed the base price changing after turning in the ZF6 from $999 to $899 today on the Shop app and website. Not cool! So I spent 40 minutes on two separate chats, got a case ID and a promise that after it ships and received, to contact the support team member who email me and they will credit the $100 to my payment method.
We shall see...

BTW, the reason I didn't cancel my order and see how this turned out is August 15th would be the soonest I could receive it instead of July 25th.

Both of my orders the original and the reorder still show July 25th and no movement

They told me I couldn't cancel my original order as it's in the shipping stage. I have a ups shipping label generated, so it's just sitting there waiting to go next week.

The last I looked on Samsung the receiving dates are all pretty much mid August to end of August. The unlocked black was the only one showing July 25 yet. The shipping fun will start next week, probably Monday.

Contacted support and I'll get 100 like u mentioned off credited to current pre-order so with tax currently 1006.00 now with adjustment it will be 906.
 
These price fluctuations are wild. I just checked and it showed 764.99 today but the order I placed the other day was 714.99 so I think I'm ok. My date still says August 15th for unlocked 512 blue.
 
Well, Samsung lives up to their reputation. Just received email denying the refund.

Thinking about reordering, I can still get the black by Friday. Anyone know if they charge restocking fee for returns.

Samsung is a nightmare when it comes to customer service and it might be better to just pay the extra $100. I've never returned anything before so I don't know, but I can imagine it being a nighmare if anything goes wrong, I'll end up paying for a phone I don't even have.

I hate Samsung at these times, this is where apple wins hands down.
