App badges

I'm not getting the notification badges on app icons. I have the app badges turned on in the phone settings. I also use nova and have it turned on in the nova settings. I'm not sure what I'm missing.

Did you install Tesla Unread for Nova?

Ding ding ding...we have a winner!!! I didn't realize you had to into Tesla and activate the apps there as well. Thanks for help.
