I got my Verizon G4 yesterday and I'm going through the process of testing my favorite apps on it. Thought I'd share:
As has been noted already, Foxfi works perfectly on it. As a bonus, it starts the Hotspot directly in the Foxfi app and doesn't redirect you to the onboard Hotspot menu like my Galaxy Note 4 does.
My favorite IR Remote app, Smart Remote by Paper Tiger, worked last night after I sideloaded a copy from my Galaxy Note 12.2 to it. It officially supports the G3 as "beta" and it seems that G4 feels that love too. Very excited about that, as their app's Macro support is TONS better than the built in LG Quick Remote.
