App Data transfer issue from phone to phone

Want to transfer app data from Moto G5 Plus to LG G5, but still no success.
>> App Data does not show in the Google Sync menu on either phones, which is strange...

Have tried:
1) LG Mobile Switch
2) ADB backup/restore (each option)
3) Google "Set up nearby device" - Bluetooth only connects for half second
4) Google Drive is handy, but can't figure out how to restore backups between phones

Any suggestions appreciated... Thx

If the app has no way to save its data to a file that you can transfer to another phone, then import the date from the file, you can contact the developer and ask him to add the function.

If you're saving the data on Drive, just add the first account's Google Account to the second phone and set Drive on the second phone to use that account and download the data.

Or you can backup/restore to a PC, a thumb drive, an SD card, anything that can hold files.
