App data transfer?

I have an HTC One X and I am about to by a Nexus 7. I have quite a few games on the phone and want to know will my progress be saved to my new Nexus 7 device. Also, if I stop a game on the Nexus, will I continue from the same spot when I pick up the HTC One X?

Unless you backup the games from your HTC One X and restore it on the Nexus 7, no it won't*


*Some apps have syncing of game progress but since it was only announce at Google I/O a few months ago many haven't added it in yet. Just depends on the app

i just had great luck with "helium" (used to be carbon). It backs up the app and game info for what is selected. I backed it up internally, then got on the PC and copied that file info to a new phone. other options available with paid app. And then on the new phone did a restore. worked great. kinda of reminds me of sideloading on a blackberry (phone goes into developer mode)
