App downloading android 5.1

I am wondering if there is a way to get the app store back on Android 5.1 so if there is not can someone help me with installing apk files is says there is a problem parsing the package. Pls help

This has to do with how old your phone and its Android OS version is, as discussed in your other thread: https://forums.androidcentral.com/t...count-error-and-updates.1059909/#post-7163037. Your only option is to see if you can flash a custom ROM with a higher Android version, as you mentioned in that thread, but I wouldn't be optimistic about it.

If you're unable to install an APK file on your phone, that means the APK is not compatible with your phone.

I have an Android 5 tablet myself (a Kindle Fire), and the Amazon Appstore for Android still works on it. Maybe it will work on yours as well.

What about the Aurora Store? Dspite the name, that's an alternative app for useing the Google Play Store. Would that still work on Android 5?

Like @B. Diddy says, that's an app incompatibility. Usually, the app is looking for a newer version of Android than what you're running.
