App finds lyrics etc?

Hi brain trust,

Trying to see if anyone knows of an app that will scan your personal music library (that I have saved on my phone in the music folder) and find the lyrics and add them based on Artist and Title? The saved files don't have any built in tags or anything. I haven't been able to find one yet capable of doing this. Thank you!

Not that I know of. You may be better served finding an app that will allow you to tag them manually. There are some that can tag base on file names. Sadly, I don't think there are many of those left, since CD ripping has kinda went the way of the Dodo.

I think you may be asking for too much. It's one thing for an app to be able to scan a document and find words and phrases even in an unopened file but for one to be able to scan a closed file for spoken words... You may have a wait on your hands.

Searching the internet for lyrics to get the song title and then your device for the song title is probably as close you're going to get.

Not sure how you're picturing using this but don't forget that the S24 has split screen and you can save these pairs as quick launch scenes from your sidebar. You could make a split screen pair from your browser and your file manager or Shazam and your media player, and this way you can search in one and play/find in the other all without leaving the screen you're on.

To make a split screen pair first open both apps in split screen>touch the 3 dots in the middle between the two>press the star to save as a favorite>pick where you would like to save this pair. I think if you change the proportions, say a larger area for the bottom app and larger for the top, it will save this as well. So less fiddling when you do open it.
