App folders keep unpacking :-(

I have created folders inside of the application locker to group my applications in a way that I desire. This is the 5th time now that I have opened the stock TW application locker only to find my folders nearly empty and the majority of applications outside of them.

So I go and repack the folders and it stays nice and clean for a while, maybe a day.... and then something scatters the applications out of the folders again. I don't like that.

This is how I am trying to keep things....

The only thing I can think of it might be a bug in the TW launcher. Have you tried a different one like Nova to see if the problem still exists?

No, I honestly hasn't planned to run a third party launcher,at least for a while. I had hopes of finding a happy place within the stock and unrooted phone.

I noticed you said "This is the 5th time now that I have opened the stock TW application locker" -- Have you been trying other launchers and then going back to TW and this happens?

No, never once. I have no plans of any third party, why I typed that in that way was to be clear that it's a totally stock phone that is not rooted and does not have a third party launcher.

So, before I posted this, what.....an hour ago..... I had just repacked the folders. I just now restarted the phone and guess what!? All screwed up again and spread over three pages.

Well, no restart, barely touched the phone since that last repack, and it all scattered again. Very uncool.

I'm having the same issue. Home screen folders stay organized but app drawer ones do not. And it's random.

Yes, exactly. The folders o dragged out to the launcher screens stay, but the app locket gets scrambled. Over and over.

I have the same problem. I guess this a software issue that needs to be patched and no one has found an update.

I like TW, and I don't really want to experiment with Nova just yet.

Same here, I'm okay with Samsung TouchWiz and didn't want to deal with 3rd party launchers.

So my different folders have been packed with Apps for 24 hours including a restart and I have no issues with them spilling back out. I would like to know why some of you are having problems.

Mine has stayed packed and organized since yesterday afternoon. I'm hoping that it sticks and doesn't scatter out any more. It's been about 18 hours since the last scatter. I'm afraid to restart, last time I did, it triggered the scattering.

My apps only unpack after shutoff or restart. It's very weird. Must be a software issue. Hopefully Verizon doesn't delay their updates too much. Sigh.

I was having the same problem, but I have found a solution. When you click on the folder, then the plus sign to add another app to a folder, those changes do not stay after a reboot. However, if you click on menu (3 buttons in top right of apps), then click edit, then click the folder you want to add apps to, then click "open folder", then click on the plus sign, and make the rest of the changes you need, and then click done when finished at the top. My changes are now sticking after a restart.
