Google talk with video and voice from gingerbread 2.3.4

Reboot to recovery
Always create a backup of your current setup before trying out mods or themes.

Flash the attached gtalk file
Wipe dalvik
Wipe cache
Reboot

I had to mod a gapps zip to get this working with out breaking market and other google apps.
Google talk Voice works
Google voice is working
Google talk video is working

I only tested with EVO-Deck 1.0 running GoDm0dE-2.6.38.5 hardware ver 003 I will flash a few other roms later today and post my results. Should work with CM7

Note: Tiamat 4.0 gave me FC's

Test it out and let me know

Link to the kernel i'm using 5-377-toastcfh-2.6.38-hax0r-me-alive-v5.zip

Note: if flashing a new rom, be sure to flash the gapps that comes with that rom first then flash this one.

UPDATE: Confirmed working on the following roms

EVO-Deck 1.0
█VirusROM GengerSense ReV? █ ◄●|2 MAY|B3|●► █ [Gingerbread]●[2.3.3]●[Sense 2.1] █

dude you rock. This is working great. I have CM7.02 and the "stock CM7 kernel", whatever comes with it I guess. My buddy has a nexus s with CM7.02, is there anything he could flash to get it working on his phone? He likes CM7 and doesn't want to get the OTA update with it.

I was hoping this would work. I am running CM7 (7.0.3.1) with the SavagedZen Kernel version 2.1.0 CFS on my Evo. GTalk opens, but whenever I try to video chat, the app FCs. I will try a few different AOSP kernels and report back.

i was wondering, i have an evo3D, since we only have temp root at the moment, would it be possible to break this zip down and push w/ adb and then do a "fast reboot" using the fast reboot app?

if so, i know where to push the actual apk, however the other files in the zip i would need to know. thanks in advance.
