App has unfortunately stopped?

It is usually the Direct tv app but has seen a few others on my S7e? The app is not opened just the pop up comes on the screen and says" ....has stopped"...report...ok..?
Any ideas?
Also why is Direct tv running all unless I open it?

I would try this: Go into Settings>apps. Click on the direct TV app, clear data and force stop.

Use the method provided by Golfdriver for all other apps having the same problem. As far as your last question, I'm not sure that I follow. Could you clarify?
