App icon oddity

8.0 final on Nexus 6P.

When I click on the app icon, I only get a few apps to show. In all other Android variations (including 7.1.2 previously on my Nexus), I got a list of ALL my installed apps.

Am I missing something?

Are you using the Google Now Launcher, or some other one?

Nova. Might have fixed the problem but discovered another one. Nova has the phone set to a dark theme (no biggie). Once I changed that to the light theme, I got all the apps back but then couldn't see much of anything anywhere else. Not sure if this is an Android issue or a Nova issue. Either way, once I figure this out, I'll send off an email to Google to let them know. It's an issue, one way or another. (I thought this was the final (aka distributable) version.)

TeslaCoil just updated Nova, so try updating first and see if the problem goes away.
