I have my Nexus7 setup with two users. We both can download and install apps in our own account, works great.

Once in a while we would like to both have the same app. Short of each of us downloading and installing the app, is there a way to install it once so it is available to both users' accounts?
Thanks

I would like to know the answer to this too. As far as I'm aware it seems like you have to install applications for each user separately. Multiple user log-ins is still kinda new to Android.

Not how you'd think...

If you download the app on both accounts, it should only download once and do the copy from one account to the other, your nexus should be smart enough to handle that.

if you're asking if you have to pay twice if the app isn't free, I think the answer is yes based on my experience a few months ago.

Each user has to have bought an app. But... Of course there's a fix if you're rooted.

Both statements are correct: If it's paid, you do have to buy it once per account. If it's downloaded to one, you can install to another (assuming non-paid or both purchased) and it will utilize the same 'copy' for both accounts.
