App is Incompatible

I am trying to download a number of UK apps which are incompatible with my AT&T SAMSUNG-SGH-I747.

How can I get around this, and install these apps?

I'm having the same problem and I'm in the U.S. I keep getting the message that my phone is not compatible with the app. And these are apps I bought on my old phone.

Have either of you contacted the developer/vendor directly? And what apps are we taking about?

Are either of you by any chance coming from a gingerbread device or something with a smaller resolution than what the S3 has? I haven't even gotten mine yet, but I had (and still do) that problem with some apps that either just aren't supported on my current device or the developer told me they haven't updated for higher resolution yet

I've never had much of a resolution issue with my phone, despite its 1280x720 screen. And I'm running GB. I'd think ICS would be more flexible... But my phone also has a resolution compatibility mode.
